ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 warm-up fixtures announced

A total of 16 warm-up matches will be played between participant teams of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.

The first set of warm-up fixtures will begin on October 12, featuring all the eight teams in Round 1 of the tournament. India will face England in Dubai on October 18 and Australia on October 20 in their warm-up fixtures.

Those keen on closely studying players ahead of making their Dream11 fantasy teams during the tournament will be delighted to know eight of the 16 warm-up matches will be broadcast on Star, with highlights for these matches available on ICC’s digital platforms.

October 12

Ireland vs Papua New Guinea, Abu Dhabi (3:30 pm)

October 14

Namibia vs Scotland, Dubai (11:30 am)

October 18

Pakistan vs West Indies, Dubai (3:30 pm)

England vs New Zealand, Abu Dhabi (3:30 pm)

India will open their T20 World Cup 2021 campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai on October 24.
