India reported a record single-day rise of 1,84,372 new coronavirus infections pushing the total tally of cases to 1,38,73,825, while the active cases surpassed the 13-lakh mark, according to the Union health ministry data updated on Wednesday.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 26,20,03,415 samples tested for COVID-19 up to 14th April 2021, including 13,84,549 samples that were tested yesterday.

Meanwhile, board exams for Class 10th have been canceled and the 12th exams have been postponed, said the education ministry after a high-level meeting chaired by PM Narendra Modi.
