Ace Indian badminton player PV Sindhu has appreciated the sand art created by renowned artist Sudarsan Pattnaik on the Puri beach after the Hyderabadi clinched a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics to add to her silver at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
The sand artist congratulated her by carving a magnificent figure of Sindhu out of the sand at Puri beach. Sudarshan shared this figure on his official Twitter handle of social media and wrote, ‘Congratulations PV Sindhu for winning the bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics.’
Sindhu also liked this beautiful figure of the Indian sand artist. Sindhu, retweeting this tweet of Sudarshan thanked him and wrote that he liked this figure very much. The shuttler appreciated the piece of art, tweeting, “Wow, love this piece of work! @sudarsansand (folded hands).”

The reigning world champion is only the second Indian after wrestler Sushil Kumar and India’s first woman to win two Olympic medals.
Sudarsan has also created a sand art to appreciate the Indian women’s hockey team’s entry into the Olympics semifinal for the first time.
