Telangana locals dedicate a temple to actor Sonu Sood
Bollywood actor Sonu Sood is undoubtedly the hero of 2020. Popularly known as ‘messiah of migrants’ for his humanitarian work during the coronavirus-led nationwide lockdown, the actor continues to win hearts of million with her deeds.
Recently, the locals of a Telangana village with the help of the Siddipet district authorities have constructed a temple in his honour. The temple with an idol of the actor was inaugurated in the presence of the sculptor and locals.

“As he has attained the place of god by his good deeds, we have built a temple for Sonu Sood. He is a god for us,” Giri Kondal Reddy, a Zilla Parishad member, told ANI.
Sonu Sood Responds
Reacting to the news, Sood took to his official Twitter to handle to thank residents of Dubba Tanda village. He shared some pictures of his temple and wrote: “Don’t deserve this sir. Humbled.”
Growing up in Moga, Punjab, actor Sonu Sood left to Mumbai with eyes full of dreams and heart full of desires and from a reel-life anti-hero, he has become a real-life superhero. Ever since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the actor has lent a helping hand to thousands of migrant and daily wage workers through his random acts of kindness.
He arranged buses for migrants after obtaining special permissions from respective state governments. Apart from sending migrants home, Sonu Sood also launched a food initiative and donated 1500 PPE kits to doctors across Punjab.
