Karan Johar Summoned by NCB, Sirsa Tweet “Get Ready For Koffee With NCB”

Narcotics Control Bureau on Thursday furnished a notice to filmmaker Karan Johar, looking for full details regarding a video from 2019 party Arranged by him. NCB furnished the notice After a complaint was filed by Shiromani Akali Dal Leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Who remarked the video with lots of questions. Karan Johar has ti respond to the notice by December 18.

Sirsa, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader approached the NCB in September this year over alleged drug party organise at Johar’s residence in 2019, where several Top Actors was hanging out in the party, including Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor, Malaika Arora, among others.

After the allegations, amid the commotion surrounding Sushant’s death, Karan came out with the statement in which he said, “Certain news channels, print/ electronic media and social media platforms are wrongly and misleadingly reporting that narcotics were consumed at a party that i hosted on July 28, 2019, at my residence. I had already clarified my position way back in 2019 that the allegations were false.”

Karan Johar further said and clarified that no one is taking drugs at his party, “In view of the current malicious campaign, I am reiterating that the allegations are completely baseless and false. No narcotics substance was consumed in the party.”

“My mother, 5 minutes before this video, was sitting with us. It was that kind of a family, happy, social gathering, where friends were sitting and having a good time and we were listening to some music, having some good food and having good conversational energy there. There was nothing else going on,” he had added.
