Body Shaming: The topic of mockery!
Men and women.. Boys and girls.. all of us have come across body shaming at least once in our lifetimebut the question is how do we tackle it?The image of an ‘hour glass’ is never accomplished and the society keeps forcing us to apt by their own made norms. We ourselvesalso cultivate the feeling of insecurity about our bodies each and every daywhich results inlack of self-confidence and self-esteem.
your story is my story here, we are sailing in the same boat
How many of us look like the models we see in the international magazines? The beauty norms those magazines set is all a lie. Imagine how boring it would be if everyone started looking the same ‘perfect’ in a fantasy world. Everyone there would just lose their uniqueness, uniqueness of their flaws.. of their stature.. and of their whole personality.
Mocking on a person’s appearance is no humor and we should always remember that no one is perfect also ‘beauty lies in the eyes of beholder’. One thing that we all need to realize is that we all have flaws and no one has the authority to judge us because no matter what we do in our lives no matter how much success we achieve not everyone is going to love us.People will always judge and keep giving their much not needed opinions and bashing each other will always continue on social media. What we need to understand is that the best way to live life is on our own terms.
No one knows you better than yourself. At end of the day one person that stays with you in every situation is ‘You’. Self love is the KEY because when you face the worst times in your life who is going to be there to pick you up? The answer is ‘You’. Youneed to have faith in yourself because ‘You’ are all you need to tackle all the battles of life and face them fearlessly!
